covid-19 precautions
As an independent outside vendor, we maintain regular housekeeping practices, including routine cleaning and disinfecting of surfaces, equipment, and other elements of the enrichment class environment. We are making sure to follow the precautions below, each coach is trained on our topnotch sanitary policies. We take pride in protecting the health and well-being of our families and school’s and will follow the guidelines to ensure the safest re-entry!
Key precautions we follow in order to reduce potential exposures:
• Keep ill persons out of child care. Educate children, families and staff to stay home when sick, and use screening methods.
• Cohorts. Conduct all activities in small groups that remain together over time with minimal mixing of groups.
• Physical distancing. Minimize close contact (less than six feet) with other people.
• Hand hygiene. Frequently wash with soap and water, or use alcohol-based hand gel.
• Personal protective equipment. Use face coverings or shields, and other barriers.
• Environmental cleaning and disinfection. Prioritize the cleaning of high-touch surfaces.
• Use outdoor spaces. Consider outdoor spaces when possible as they have less transmission risk than indoor spaces.
• Ensure staff are trained in health and safety protocols for each site. This includes; screening for symptoms, maintaining physical distance, using appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), understanding and practicing frequent cleaning and hand washing, limiting the number of children in each program space.
• Follow the Governor’s Guidelines for Sporting Activities and CDC Guidance for Youth Sports for any sports activity.
• Remove any items that cannot easily be cleaned and disinfected.
All coaches will wear personal protective equipment when required.
